Application Scenarios

How Our Double Roller Press Works

Our briquetting machine utilizes advanced mechanical pressure to compress prepared powders and dust into solid, high-density shapes. Here is the continuous production process:

1. Material Feeding

The prepared powder mixture (often mixed with a precise ratio of binders and moisture) is fed into the top hopper. For low-fluidity materials, an optional force-feeding screw ensures uniform material distribution.

2. High-Pressure Compaction

The core mechanism consists of two heavy-duty rollers rotating in opposite directions. As the powder enters the “nip” (the gap between the rollers), it is caught in the matching molds machined onto the roller surfaces.

3. Maximum Density Formation

As the rollers close in, immense mechanical pressure forces the powder particles tightly together, eliminating air gaps and forming a dense, solid briquette.

4. Smooth Discharge

As the rollers continue to rotate past the centerline, the molds begin to separate. The finished briquettes smoothly drop out onto a discharge conveyor via gravity, ready for drying or direct use.
