Bentonite dryer is a high-temperature drying process, drying bentonite with low moisture content, uniform drying and wetness, stable production capacity, durability, and adaptability.
The bentonite dryer can use coal, oil, gas and other fuels for heating. Based on the environmental assessment requirements of the customer’s project, the technical design can be flexibly designed to meet the needs of environmental assessment and continuous production.

Bentonite dryer working principle
The bentonite drying system is mainly composed of a hot air stove, feeding conveyor, rotary drum, discharge conveyor, induced draft fan, cyclone dust collector, bag dust collector (or wet dust collector) and operation control system.
The equipment adopts a downstream drying process, and its working principle is as follows: After the bentonite enters the drying drum, it is divided into the following working areas: one is the guide area, where the bentonite enters this area and quickly evaporates water in contact with the high-temperature hot air, and the bentonite guides the material at a large angle. When the board is moved, it is led to the next working area; the second is the board copy area, where the bentonite is picked up by the board to form a material curtain.
At this time, the bentonite is in full contact with the hot air, and the water in the bentonite quickly evaporates and strips into water vapour, The water vapour is then drawn away by the induced draft fan, to achieve the purpose of drying the bentonite; the bentonite is dried into a loose state with moisture less than 5% (or lower) in this area, and the bentonite reaches the required moisture state after heat exchange. Enter the discharging area at the back; the third is the discharging area, the drum is not equipped with a copy plate in this area, and the bentonite rolls to the discharge opening in this area to complete the entire drying process.
