Magnesium rotary kiln
A metal magnesium rotary kiln is a special rotary kiln developed for the calcination characteristics of dolomite and the technological requirements of the Pidgeon method for smelting magnesium. It is the key equipment of the dolomite calcination system. The calcined white produced by the rotary kiln has a stable and uniform quality and high activity.
The characteristics of low ignition loss fully meet the technological requirements of Pthe idgeon method for smelting magnesium, so that the extraction rate of magnesium and the utilization rate of silicon are also relatively high, and the production cost of metal magnesium is reduced. It is ideal equipment for calcining dolomite in the magnesium industry.

Magnesium rotary kiln working principle
The material is fed into the kiln through the kiln tail (high end) chute. Due to the inclination and slow rotation of the cylinder, the material rolls along the circumference while moving in the axial direction from the kiln tail (high end) to the kiln head (low end); The kiln head end (low end) is sprayed into the kiln through a burner for combustion, and the heat is transferred to the material by radiation and conduction.
After the material is calcined in the moving process, it is discharged from the kiln head end, and the high-temperature flue gas is discharged from the kiln head end. The tail end enters the kiln tail dust removal system.
